5 star service 5 star food!!!!!!!! Mya is the best of the best risotto goes crazy and always consistent
Had a great time. Everyone in my group enjoyed it. Casual but unique. Good service. Good quality. We all Loved the poke nachos! Would definitely go back next time we are in the area. Recommend sitting outside on the 2nd floor.
Service was fast and friendly here! I loved the seating options, as there are great indoor and outdoor tables with views of the TV to watch the big game. We brought the dog here without issue and chose patio seats overlooking the beautiful Old Town La Quinta. The food and drink options are great. We enjoyed both thoroughly. My one star dock is going to come from the prices. They definitely push the limits that arena. For example, my fiancée had a salad with grilled chicken that registered at $27(!). I would still return, but I'd probably be pickier with finding the "value" dishes.
We love coming here, Good drinks and food. The service is always great Albert took care of us. Drinks always filled Very attentive Be back again soon
Roadrunner is always a favorite but Desiree made our experience the best thus far. Her service was exceptional, vibe immaculate, and banter on point. If you're going to watch a game, come here.
The food is always great. I had the flat iron steak. Next time I will ask for an extra side of chimichurri sauce. I'm a sauce guy. Ximena is the best! Her smile and warmth with our little ones was as genuine as it gets. Her knowledge of the menu and wine they offer is impressive. The patio was nice and warm with the over head heaters turned on. We could ever get enough RD RNNR. Always a treat.
Rd Rnnr describes their food as "craft American fare," so let's run with that. I've eaten here twice, and about to eat there a third time since I have an exhibit in a nearby museum, so you can already tell I like it. I've had their lamb chili, which is delicious, as well as their Rd Rnnr beer-battered fish tacos. The lamb chili is actually in the "Pecks" part of the menu. However, if you get the $18 bowl, it's a full meal, not just an appetizer. The space is very airy, spacious, and comfortable, with plentiful covered outdoor balcony seating offering beautiful views. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is well-prepared and not crazy expensive. Definitely worth a visit. Or three.
We love the RD RNNR for any meal while we're in town! We ordered for pickup to enjoy at home. We enjoyed our meal so much we ordered the same thing the next night! We typically dine in, which we love! The restaurant is fun, open, lively and kid friendly. The service has always been welcoming. The takeout process though was seamless and the food traveled well. I ordered Adam's Gift and requested no fries, extra coleslaw. This is THE BEST slaw I've ever had. Jalapēno slaw...worth mentioning and it has a kick! I could eat this as a side for anything. I would also BEG the chefs for the recipe. The ribs are also delicious. Perfectly seasoned, not overly sauced and tender! RD RNNR is a local gem in La Quinta. Swing by for any meal or occasion if you're in town!
We hadn't been back to RD RNNR in 2 years since my last review in 2022. The wife and I are back today at the new location. The view of the hills is beautiful...and the food was tasty. The fried chicken sandwich was moist and has just a little spice to it. The fries were cooked the way they should be. My wife had the Adult Mac N Cheese and said it was TASTY!!! Jorge was our server. He continually checked on us, as did Israel. This "tag-team" works to keep your glasses filled all while providing excellent service. They were both professional, friendly, and personable. Please keep both of these gentlemen on staff. We will not be taking 2 years to return to RD RNNR next time. This large outdoor patio is awesome!!!
Not a bad spot for lunch or dinner and possibly a drink. Your options in downtown La Quinta are quite limited. Roadrunner (or RD RNNR, God, get over yourselves, it's not an EDM act at Coachella), they get the job done and there is great service here, if not the best prices. The menu is pretty uninspiring, standard hipster, gastro-pub fare. Wait, burgers, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato fries and aioli? Wow, didn't see that coming. For all the cynicism I was feeling, when the burger came out, it was actually really good! It was cooked to perfection with a little pink inside and these big ole steak fries rather than the little skinny ones that seem frozen. I added a fried egg as an option and it was all pretty reasonable, all things considered. My friend got the fried chicken sandwich and said it was ok. It could have had some heat added to it to make it a pseudo-Nashville Hot sandwich, but missed the opportunity. I would recommend this place. One BIG NOTE though. The noise inside the restaurant was OUTRAGEOUS! There were little kids running all over the place like Chuck E Cheese's and the parents were not doing a damn thing. It seems like that is what is allowed or tolerated here if you come to drink, you are allowed to let your kids run wild. We actually had to move outside to finish our meal, but once we did, all was right with the world again. But dang! We couldn't hear ourselves think inside. I can deal with loud, but not screaming. Sorry.
